Mid-Century Inspired Custom Home – Interiors

What started as a large-scale renovation of a 1950s bungalow grew into a custom-designed dream house overlooking all of Vancouver.

Upon entering, custom staircases flow up and down in a floating foyer that leads you to either the family living space below, or to the wide-open large entertaining spaces above. Windows and ceilings soar to great heights with panoramic views throughout the entire upper floor. Fred designed the elegant and colourful kitchen that opens to not only the Great Room but also to the wall of sliding glass panels that brings the interior and exterior together as one. The interior was finished in a high contrast, bright palette to suit the client’s request for a unique and colourful interior.

Of special note is the Master Suite, nestled in a private garden allowing views from all angles. The bedroom zone looks onto Vancouver below while the private ensuite Master Bathroom sits in a private garden, allowing large picture windows at each end.
