David Alan B 2012 Show Suite

David Alan B 2012 Show Suite

We are very happy to post photographs of the 2012 Show Suite we’ve renovated in West Vancouver.  This suite showcases the latest in finishes and materials in a complete transformation of a thirty year old condo.  The entire suite was gutted and the project took four months to complete.  It entailed the relocation of the kitchen, laundry, foyer, master suite and pretty much everything inside the four walls.  Another fantastic thing about this suite was that we were finally able to showcase a two storey configuration.  The new master suite is located in the loft area and we added an incredible, luxurious master ensuite under a wall to wall skylight.  The ensuite is divided from the bedroom by two antique Balinese sliding screens which provide the most striking feature of the entire condo.

It was our goal to showcase a low contrast colour palette with a variety of textures as is seen trending in high fashion European interiors.  Some materials such as the custom oak finish on the kitchen cabinets were so new we had to wait until they put it into production.  We specified a rare hardwood floor in a light finish that has been fumed for a rare look; custom carpeting in a very unique pattern is featured in the living room and guest suite.  The new staircase is the main feature of the lower level and was custom made to match the fumed woodwork as well.  Adjacent the staircase is the dramatic mantle with the wall mounted television backed by Japanese grasscloth and highlighting the wood burning fireplace and built in bookcases.

The terraces on both levels have been completely renewed with red brick pavers and potted palm trees.  The view from this condo is the main attraction with views extending from the Sunshine Coast at the West and all the way to Washington State in the South and East.
